LEAVE A LEGACY^® is a community-based, awareness campaign to encourage people from all walks of life and all income levels to make gifts from their estates to nonprofit organizations of their choice. The most common way to give is through a will, either by designating specific amounts to charities or by leaving a percentage of the estate.

The Susquehanna Valley Planned Giving Council is pleased to oversee four awareness campaigns in our area. These campaigns highlight activities in the Greater Harrisburg area, Lancaster, Lebanon and York County. They are composed of nonprofit and estate planning professionals who partner together to encourage donors to consider a charitable bequest or other planned gift. These gifts will truly "Make a Difference in the Lives that Follow."

LEAVE A LEGACY^® campaign activities are conducted locally by volunteers who are commited to promoting the importance of charitable bequests.

All members of Susquehanna Valley Planned Giving Council are members of LEAVE A LEGACY^® as a member benefit.
